The antidote Pharmacy Group operates six pharmacies in Dunedin. Group owners Chin Loh and Lorealle Lam have developed the antidote brand to help customers on their health journey by providing the best of science and nature. Their stores stock a wide range of herbal medicines, pharmaceuticals and nutritional supplements.
As part of the store re-branding, antidote needed to develop a tighter core range of retail products to be carried in all their stores and a system to monitor inventory performance. The group was carrying more than 12,000 SKUs with over $200,000 Dead Stock. Their current inventory management tools required time-consuming manual aggregation of store orders and the group had no reliable way for managers to monitor sales and make stock decisions.
The RPM system was integrated with the antidote stores’ Toniq POS systems and RPM consultants developed a core range of 1000 top-selling products. Over the next 12 months all stores have cleared dead stock, adopted the core range, and implemented the RPM smarter ordering system. All store managers are using the RPM insights, reports and dashboards for real-time visibility on their KPIs with the ability to drill-down to the actionable information.

Since the implementation of RPM, the antidote stores have improved their sales performance and continued to reduce stock levels. The group’s monthly management reporting is now automated out of RPM which provides a consistent focus on sales and inventory performance.
