West Auckland Trust Services Limited (’The Trusts’) exists to sell alcohol responsibly and return their surplus profits to the community. The Trusts operates 24 retail liquor stores across West Auckland under the West Liquor and Village Wines & Spirits banners.
In the midst of an effort to raise store standards, The Trusts recognised that they needed a business intelligence tool to offer reliable reporting and to automatically deliver actionable information to their frontline staff. The current head office reporting tools were too slow and costly and their struggle to build custom reports was affecting their managers’ ability to monitor sales and make stock decisions.
RPM was integrated with The Trusts’ Infinity database over a four week implementation period. The standard suite of RPM insights, reports and dashboards was made available online to users at individual branches, and at head office. Over the following months, The Trusts’ management team worked with RPM consultants to customise their dashboards and reports. This provided managers with real-time visibility on their KPIs and the ability to drill-down to the actionable information.
Since the implementation of RPM, The Trusts’ 24 stores have improved their sales performance and stock levels, and head office reporting has been streamlined.
